God’s amazing grace is something that is often talked about in Christian circles, but do believers fully grasp the power of what that means to our everyday lives?
Grace is God’s power to go through what we would rather not face.
Jesus didn’t come into this world to save us from having a bad day, or to just improve our lives. He also didn’t come to make us happy or fulfilled.
He came to give us His grace. God’s amazing grace is an undeniable superpower.
Have you ever been alone — like Jesus in the garden of Gethsemane?
Then Jesus came to a place called Gethsemane, and told His disciples, “Sit here while I go over there and pray.” (Mathew 26:36, NASB)
The Bible says, while in the garden, Jesus’ sweat became like drops of blood.
The moment was so intense that Jesus asks God to take this moment away.
Have you ever wanted God to remove something from you?
Paul prayed for God to remove a thorn in his flesh. God told Paul, “my grace is sufficient for you.” (II Corinthians 12:9, NKJV)
Maybe you desire for God to remove what He is using to conform you into His image.
Have you ever thought of praying for the strength to endure the test?
