Many of us…..
are searching for wonderful experiences, and every day we expect positive things. Others of us may be looking for spectacular things that stir our imagination and unleash our creativity. And still, others may be looking for a miracle or a supernatural outcome.
We often search for the spectacular and miraculous in a variety of places. Sometimes we search for it through high profile people, or those we feel have mastered specific life skills.
Others of us try and find highly talented people on social media, Broadway, or television. We often look for the spectacular in every place except within ourselves.
Every person is made unique. Dare we say that we are undoubtedly, YOU-nique!
It is imperative for all of us to know we were fearfully and wonderfully made by God our creator.
THE NATURAL TURNS SUPER AS GOD ADDS SUPER TO OUR NATURAL.
The spectacular occurs naturally as everyday people step into moments of being themselves. The greatest natural is seen through the people that use their natural talents and God-given gifts.
This happens best as people step into situations and the moment they were born for. I have seen it in crisis situations. I have seen it in places where compassion was needed. I have seen it while people are clearing away the debris of a tornado, singing a song, or doing a TED talk.
Have you ever witnessed a normal moment normal that turned amazing?
Followers of Christ call this the “supernatural.” The supernatural occurs most in those moments when we are leveraging and use the gifts and the talents God has given to us.
We were all created with the ability to serve others with our gifts and make a difference in our own unique way. The spectacular occurs when we use our gifts and callings from God for the benefit of others.
3 WAYS TO MAXIMIZE YOUR GIFTS
-
SEARCH YOUR DESIRES AND PASSIONS
Desire is defined as “zealous pursuit” or “to yearn for with eagerness and intensity”! Desire is vital. Why? Everything begins with desire. That’s why it is essential to desire after the things that make you, your best. What we seek through desire serves a vital role in discovering the gifts that reflect our personal strengths and also reveal God’s design. So, searching out key desires and passions is paramount in discovering gifts.

DISCOVER YOUR PRIMARY GIFTS
To maximize our lives, it is imperative for us to discover our gifts and callings. That may require that we take some risks. Discovery happens when we decide to take risks and face our fears and uncomfortable situations. Our gifts are rarely discovered in the classroom. Gifts are revealed in the heat of the game, when we are serving others, and when we are fully engaged in striving to find our “yes.”

DEVELOP YOUR GIFTS TO MAXIMIZED POTENTIAL
Be willing to start small.
Do not despise small beginnings. Be patient with yourself. Patience will set you up for personal growth and long-term success.
Discover a safe place to allow your gifts to be developed and matured. Finally, find the people who endorse and appreciate who you are.
Be willing to climb or crawl your way to the full discovery of yourself.
And remember, the next level is always uphill.
Please leave a comment. We would love to hear from you!
This is so good Pastor Tom. Sometime we think that we have to be out front and center to maximize our gifts. But, it is sometime the behind the scene places is where our gifts are used. That is when they can benefit others.
So true Deborah!
I agree I love working behind the scenes because you see so much in the Spirit that gets over looked many times when we just focus on front and center.
This is a very inciteful look into how we walk in our purpose. I believe our gift will make a place for us as we use it and walk in it. This blog can help people learn to take the next step in finding their gift, it has to be awaken in one and not just given out like a sheet of paper. When you are ready to walk in your gift God will put a restlessness within you that will open the desire to go forth.
Thank you for your kind comments!
Thank you sir for this. This post really blessed me
I have nothing to say. God only gives me three words. It is well.
